Basic Mediation Training

Resolve is looking to grow our team of dedicated volunteer mediators in Jackson County!

Resolve will provide the necessary training, coaching, and mentoring to become a court-connected mediator for those able to commit to a year of volunteer service on Mondays and Wednesdays to assist with our remote small claims mediations in Jackson County.

Participants must be able to complete all sessions of the intensive mediation training in February and March.

Space is limited to 20 participants.

When:

Session  1  Wednesday           March 12           1 to 5:00
Session  2   Thursday              March 13           9 to 4:30
Session  3*  Thursday              March 20          9 to 4:30
Session  4*  Thursday              March 27           9 to 4:30

Session 5*   Thursday              April 3                9 to 4:30
Session 6    Thursday              April 10              9 to 4:30

*Three additional 2 to 2.5 hour practice sessions will also need to be completed. The sessions are normally will be held between week 3, 4, and 5. With the specific  dates and times for your 3 sessions being selected during the Wednesday March 12th session.

Fees:
$950.00*.

For volunteers able to fulfill a one-year service commitment: $250.00**.

*Payment plans and group discounts are available on a limited basis.
** New volunteers must complete an interview, pass all agency screening requirements, and sign a service agreement before the first class.
