Basic Mediation Training
Resolve is looking to grow our team of dedicated volunteer mediators in Jackson County!
Resolve will provide the necessary training, coaching, and mentoring to become a court-connected mediator for those able to commit to a year of volunteer service on Mondays and Wednesdays to assist with our remote small claims mediations in Jackson County.
Participants must be able to complete all sessions of the intensive mediation training in March and April.
Space is limited to 20 participants.
Day 1: Thursday, March 31, 1:00-5:00 pm
Day 2: Friday, April 1, 9:00 am-4:30 pm
Day 3*: Friday, April 8, 9:00 am-4:30 pm
Day 4*: Friday, April 15, 9:00 am-4:30 pm
Day 5*: Friday, April 22, 9:00 am-4:30 pm
Day 6: Friday, April 29, 9:00 am-4:30 pm
*Additional 2.5 hour practice sessions will be scheduled between days 3, 4, and 5. These will be scheduled with participant and coach availability in mind and are designed to be flexible.

Online through the video conferencing app Zoom. Participants will need to have access to a stable internet connection and a webcam. If these are barriers to your participation, please contact Resolve.
For approved volunteers able to fulfill a one-year service commitment: $150.00**.
*Payment plans and group discounts are available on a limited basis.
** New volunteers must complete an interview, pass all agency screening requirements, and sign a service agreement before the first class.
