Intern
Resolve has worked with student interns from Southern Oregon University, Portland State University and the University of Oregon Conflict and Dispute Resolution Master’s Program (CRES). Typical placements are the equivalent of eight weeks of full time work to satisfy eight units or forty hours of internship credit. Placements may be condensed into the summer months or span the academic year. Each placement is designed to meet the needs of both the student and Resolve, and interns are held to same standards as professional staff.
Students gain:
- Knowledge of mediation and/or restorative justice
- Experience in program development and evaluation
- Projects to add to their portfolio
- A working reference for future employment
The number of placements is limited and may be competitive.
