Dear Friend of Resolve,
I am writing to ask you to consider a tax-deductible donation to Resolve Center for Dispute Resolution and Restorative Justice. Imagine a community where people connect to one another and are accountable for their actions and choices. Imagine a community where youth and adult are supported in making things right when they have caused harm. Imagine a community where friends, neighbors, and fellow workers can get help to resolve and manage dispute.
Resolve helps people manage conflict through mediation, restore harmed relationships and communities through restorative justice, and advance peace through education and training.
Resolve Helps
Resolve works in partnership with our courts, schools and juvenile justice providing mediation and restorative justice services, programs, and training.
Every week Resolve’s professional and volunteer mediators provide services to the people of Jackson and Josephine County and through the circuit courts for disputes of all kind: from family, to neighborhood and business, to landlord/tenant.
Through our partnership with juvenile justice, Resolve’s restorative justice practitioners empower victims and those impacted by youth crime. Justice involved youth are supported to be accountable for their harmful actions, and to make things right.
In our schools, restorative justice offers an alternative to punitive, exclusionary discipline, and lowers the rate of disparate discipline meted out to students of color, disability and difference. A more just educational environment feels safer for all.
