Makayla Boscia

Makayla Boscia is Resolve’s Director of Operations. She first joined the team in 2020 and has served as both a practicing civil mediator and a supervisor for court-connected mediation programs. Her background includes training in equity and trauma informed practices, manufactured and marine community mediation, foreclosure avoidance facilitation, and eviction prevention.

In her leadership role, Makayla supports Resolve’s day-to-day operations and helps shape the systems that make our programs sustainable. She also brings creativity and care to community gatherings and events—whether planning trainings, arranging outreach materials, or creating spaces that help people feel connected and welcome.

Makayla is especially interested in how thoughtful processes and clear communication can make workplaces and community spaces more collaborative and responsive. She holds a B.S. in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology from Southern Oregon University, along with coursework in Human Resource Management.

In her free time, Makayla enjoys tending to her cut flower garden and discussing effective communication strategies with Steve and Stanley, her pet geckos.
